Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical with lyrics by Tim Rice. The story is based on the "coat of many colors" story of Joseph from the Hebrew Bible's Book of Genesis. Joseph was first presented as a 15-minute pop cantata at Colet Court School in London in 1968 & was recorded as a concept album in 1969. Joseph received stage productions beginning in 1970 & expanded recordings in 1971 & 1972. While still undergoing various transformations & expansions, the musical was produced in the West End in 1973, & in its full format was recorded in 1974 & opened on Broadway in 1982. Several major revivals followed including a 1999 straight-to-video film starring Donny Osmond. The show has very little spoken dialogue; it is almost completely sung-through. Its family-friendly storyline, universal themes & catchy music have resulted in numerous productions of this show.
It is geared to family audiences & has parts for adults, teens, & children.

THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, based on C-R-E-P-U-S-C-U-L-E, an original play by The Farm improv group in New York City, portrays the characters of six young people in the throes of puberty, overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves. During the course of the spelling event, they learn that winning isn't everything & that losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser. This tuneful, offbeat & at times heartwarming show offers audience members the opportunity (strictly voluntary) to become part of the action as on-stage spellers. Each performance will also feature a local celebrity speller. “Can you spell i-r-r-e-s-i-s-t-i-b-l-e? Spelling Bee is riotously funny & remarkably ingenious. Gold stars all around,“ says the New York Times.

Damon Runyon's oddball romantic comedy, considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy, soars with the spirit of Broadway as it introduces us to a cast of vivid characters who have become legends: Sarah Brown, the upright but uptight "mission doll," out to reform the evildoers of Time Square; Sky Masterson, the slick, high-rolling gambler who woos her on a bet & ends up falling in love; Adelaide, the chronically ill nightclub performer whose condition is brought on by the fact she's been engaged to the same man for 14 years; & Nathan Detroit, her devoted fiancé, always desperate to find a spot for his infamous floating crap game. Guys & Dolls succeeds where musicals & plays about nobler characters fall short. This down-to-earth show has magical ingredients that are the perfect concoction of words, music, story,& dance. After its opening in 1950, "Guys & Dolls" became one of Broadway's most enduring successes, running 1,200 performances & winning eight Tony Awards, including Best Music, Authors & Composer & Lyricist Frank Loesser. Large cast, with parts available for men & women.
